An incubation hub for the Iranian diaspora

Thirty Birds. One Flock.

Simorgh is where Iranian and diaspora founders stop building alone. An incubation hub connecting startups, mentors, investors, partners, and talent across the diaspora.

In the Persian legend, thirty birds set out to find their king. They crossed seven valleys, and at the end of it they found no one waiting. What they found was each other. Si morgh. Thirty birds.

That is the whole idea. Nobody is coming to save your company. The flock is what saves it.

The Incubation Program

Two batches a year, and a mentor who stays

A cohort you go through it with, a curriculum that covers the parts nobody taught you, and one mentor who is still there after the demo day. Here is the whole shape of it.

  1. Apply

Two batches every year. Applications stay open between deadlines, so you are never waiting a full cycle to be seen.

  2. Join a cohort

You are selected into a batch, not picked out of one. The other founders in it are your first support system.

  3. Meet your mentor

Every startup is paired with a dedicated mentor from the diaspora who walks the entire journey with you. Not office hours. One person who knows your company.

  4. The program

Structured education across fundamentals, product, fundraising, and go to market, on a weekly cadence, alongside mentorship and the cohort.

  5. Demo and connect

Graduation is an introduction, not an exit. You meet investors, partners, and talent inside the flock, warmly and with context.

  6. Stay in the flock

Alumni keep their mentor and their network for as long as they need them. That is the whole point of a flock.

The Talent Hub

Register once. Get matched, free.

The same network that mentors founders routes talent to where it is needed. Talents register a profile and matches come to them, at no cost. Employers post a role and we forward the people who fit.

You do not have to do this alone

Applications for the next batch are open. Whether you are building, guiding, backing, or looking for the work you were made for, there is a place for you here.
